This job involved extending the existing roof on a veranda in Berrima, and replacing a number of posts, decking boards and hand rails that hat rotted. Clean Air Construction had the privilege of building a brand new deck and verandah in Bundanoon recently. A timber subframe was constructed using H4 timber throughout, using a combination of metal stirrups and adjustable plastic joist supports. Composite decking boards were installed for the actual decking. To achieve as low a fall as possible for the roof, Trimdek profile was chosen, with alternating sheets of Colorbond and Polycarbonate.
